This is located in our modern 10 year old house. There is one queen bed with electric blankets. It is not ensuite but you have exclusive use of our guest bathroom right next door to the room. The advantage of this room is you can cook up a storm & socialize in the lodge less than 30 seconds walk away then retire to a lovely quiet bedroom. People say they have had the best night’s sleep. The view is of our orchard with laden pear trees in summer.
This is located in our lodge with the rest of the facilities. It has twin beds which couples push together for an OK double. There is an internal door from the corridor plus an outside door direct to the veranda where you park your car. The view is to the south & of our leafy trees that border the road to Milford Sound.
There are three each with 6 beds. The beds are in 3 sets of bunks. The bunk beds are extremely solid & do not move at all. There are storage boxes under the lower beds. There is a door from the corridor plus a door out to the north facing veranda. There are three big beautiful shared self-contained bathrooms just over the corridor. One of the bathrooms is fully disabled person compliant. Views from the veranda include the llama paddock & distant mountains & Lake Te Anau.
Unless we are super busy we only use up to 4 beds per room so you would share with 3 others. Generally mixed dorms but with enough notice it may be possible to arrange a female only dorm. If we are quiet you may well have a room to yourself.
